Type locality: Mekoum For., Souanke Dist[rict], Congo

Diagnosis

Male is similar to N. martininus by (a) ranging from C DRC to Cameroon; (b) size, Hw 36-41 mm; (c) occiput notched in middle; (d) dark stripes on sides of thorax wider than pale ones; (e) 16-20 Ax in Fw; (f) lateral tooth of cerci (almost) indiscernible. However, differs by (1) postclypeus and thorax anterior of collar mainly green rather than black; (2) pale stripe on mesepimeron as or less extensive than that on metepisternum; (3) posterior hamule 2-3x (rather than 5-6x) as long as wide (lateral view); (4) Pt larger, with 3.3-4.0 mm. Habitat description

Rivers in open areas in forest. Probably often with a soft (like muddy) bottom. From 100 to 800 m above sea level.
